Wedding Photography FAQ’s

Q What is your style of photography?

Relaxed and informal. It’s a style often referred to as Documentary, Photojournalistic or Reportage. I aim to capture all the emotion throughout the day as I see it through my own perspective and as unobtrusively as possible.

Q Do you charge to travel?

No hidden charges and no mileage costs. However depending on the location of your wedding and the time you want me to meet you, there may be an overnight accommodation charge.

Q Are there any time restrictions during the day?

Absolutely not. I start and finish at a time that suits you, usually from bridal preparations through until late in to the evening when the guests are letting their hair down!

Q Do you photograph more formal group shots?

Yes. Although my style is informal, a wedding wouldn’t quite be a wedding without family and friends group shots. It doesn’t normally take up too much time but you need to allow for this in your schedule.

Q Can we meet before we make a booking?

If at all possible I always advise a pre wedding consultation. It’s important that you feel comfortable working with me and that I can be confident of providing you with the images you want no matter what the weather. It also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions, view portfolio prints of my work and view sample albums.

Q Have you photographed other religious ceremonies?

Yes, as well as traditional and civil ceremonies, I have photographed Indian, Chinese and mixed ceremonies and pre wedding couple shoots throughout the UK and Europe.
